Abducted district collector of Malkangiri R V Krishna and junior engineer Pabitra Manjhi were released by Maoists on Tuesday night.
Krishna's uncle said that he was 'very happy' at this development.
The Orissa government had on Monday agreed to fulfill 8 of the 14 demands made by the Maoists. The remaining demands were apparently afgreed upon on Tuesday.
