Togadia released from custody

Our Correspondent in Jaipur | April 22, 2003 12:51 IST

VHP leader Pravin Togadia was on Tuesday released from the Ajmer jail and was treated to a warm welcome by his supporters.

He had been arrested in Ajmer on April 13 for violating a ban on distributing tridents and making inflammatory speeches.

Addressing his supporters, Togadia insisted that no one could stop him from crusading for a Hindu rashtra.
