Bollywood's Most Hilarious Twitter Goof-Ups
Microblogging website Twitter has been a great tool for Bollywood celebs to touch base with their fans directly.
Many A-listers, who are active on the site, enjoy huge fan following but like all great things go, there's a flip side to this revolutionary online platform too.
Fans and observers keep an eye out on the stars and their every move (read tweet in this case) and all hell breaks lose if a celebrity even so much as makes an innocent typo. What happens when a star misguidedly writes something or retweets is anybody's guess.
Here, we bring some hilarious anecdotes when Twitterville pointed and laughed at their beloved stars for their goof-ups.
Priyanka Does A Rihanna
Priyanka Chopra may not have finished work on her debut album but is already emulating the eccentric attitude of American popstars with a vengeance.
The actress surprised everyone when she retweeted Barbadian hottie Rihanna's tweet that included the F-bomb. She had tweeted: 'RT @rihanna Fk I look like ho? I look like yes and ya look like no.'
Amitabh Bachchan quickly reprimanded: '@priyankachopra @rihanna Priyanka !!!??? 4 letter word !!???? From you ???'
Chopra suddenly realised the error of her (borrowed) ways and replied: 'pheeeewwww! Ok sir! Sabak seekh liya.. Bhaad mein jaaye Rihanna aur uske tweets! Love u 2 and have a good day @SrBachchan.'
As far as her fans were concerned, she promised them: 'Alright guys.imma b a good girl now and quietly go to work.teeheehee..think I shud shuttup for a bit.. Haha!have a brilliant day loves!'
Yes, good idea, Priyanka!

The Unoriginal Author
Author Chetan Bhagat, who fancies himself a highly successful writer, which, if we are to go by statistics alone, he is, has mastered the art of putting his foot in his mouth after being on Twitter for a while.
After his inappropriate father's day joke, he applied his writing skills to an old joke for a rehash. He tweeted: 'If gulpanag had married umar gul (Pakistani cricketer), wud her name become gul gul?'
Gul Panag, understandably, wasn't pleased at all and replied, 'Chetan Bhagat at least you are expected to be more original than that.'
Needless to say, that shut the 'wise-cracking' author up.

Butt, All Publicity Is Good Publicity
This one was so epic, it's still a talking point even though the incident took place a couple of months ago.
English can be tricky, especially for Shahid Kapoor, who has a reputation for his spelling-mistakes on Twitter.
A hilarious typo happened when the actor was excitedly tweeting about his film Mausam's premiere that evening as he wrote: 'Premier in the evening my girlgand deciding what I should wear :).'
The hapless actor, who was referring to his 'girlgang' (the stylists), immediately received a spate of hilarious tweets from Smart Alecs on the social-networking site. By the time he deleted and rewrote the tweet, it had already become a trending topic.
That's a lesson in how to NOT become a butt of all Twitter jokes. Pun intended.

Aap Err... Kya Hain?
All Mahesh Bhatt did was reply to a tweet without removing an abusive hashtag from the tweet that also mentioned Twitter Handles of Sunny Leone, Kamaal R Khan and Poonam Pandey.
He had tweeted: '@kamaalrkhan @SunnyLeone @iPoonampandey Aap Ce Hain.' That sent tweeters into a frenzy as they coaxed the mentioned names to react.
Poonam Pandey and Kamaal Khan seemed to have an unflinching faith in the filmmaker's intentions and said that the account was probably hacked.
Bhatt, who's obviously not quite acquainted with Twitter's workings, comfortably stayed away for a few hours and then surfaced to say that his account was hacked, 'Someone has hacked my account and used it to abuse Kamal Khan and few others. This is dangerous,' he tweeted.

Karan Johar's Doppleganger?
You just can't afford to irk Karan Johar if you are harbouring Bollywood dreams. Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth Suryanarayan unwittingly did.
When a fan remarked that he resembles Karan Johar, he retorted: 'Thanks for ruining my day, nay my decade. also, have you heard of SPECS?'
His reaction didn't go unnoticed and a surprised Karan tweeted to him: 'didn't know I looked that bad sid!!! Apologies!!!'
Realising that he made a dreadful mistake, Siddharth went into damage control mode when he tweeted an apology: 'Karan Johar is a very genuine, respectable filmmaker who I am very fond of and have enjoyed meeting and knowing.
He has always been a very helpful senior and friend. If a silly, unintended joke goes awry, let me just say I had absolutely no intent to hurt Karan or his many admirers. That`s all there is to be said! No more comments! Peace!'
But Karan wasn't in a mood to forgive and Siddharth eventually deleted all the traces of the controversy including the apology!

The Real Son Of Sardar
Sonakshi Sinha is naive.
When Akshay Kumar let go of the title Son Of Sardar for Sonakshi and Ajay Devgn's film, it seems he did so grudgingly.
With the title row behind them, an excited Sonakshi, who stars with Akki in Shirish Kunder's Joker and Rowdy Rathore, thanked him for his grand gesture and called him a rockstar.
Akshay sarcastically replied: 'Sonakshi Sinha Ur 'Welcome', but Im not a 'RockStar' darlin Ranbir is, Im a 'Son of Sardar', dat is why i gav it to my 'Brother from a Different Mother' Ajay. Enjoy.'

Praising With Curses
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma was so overwhelmed after watching Amitabh Bachchan in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap that he wrote an intense tweet praising the actor with abusive words.
He had tweeted: 'Just watched Bbhuddah nd am. angry with bacchan that hes such a ch not to do films like this nd am such a ld not to realize this.'
Despite the criticism he received for his language, he continues to be unapologetic.
