For a reality show that thrives on conflicts, drama and hijinks, a contestant like Sky is godsend.

Ever since the burly chap with a sharp tongue entered the Bigg Boss house, it's become a venue for constant state of chaos and pinching politics.

He's picked a fight with nearly every housemate. Right from shutting up resident troublemaker Pooja Missra to an infamous mud-slinging spat with Mahek Chahal, wherein he blurted out some unsavory remarks about her past, to almost coming to blows with Amar Upadhyay when he relentlessly teased the latter with Vida Samadzai to his constant verbal scuffles with Shonali Nagrani, Shraddha Sharma and Sidharth Bharadwaj, Sky hasn't spared anyone except chums Pooja Bedi, Juhi Parmar and Sunny Leone.

When he's not fighting, taunting or laughing out loud like a evil megalomaniac, a hyperactive Sky's busy building camps, plotting nominations, analyzing the finals or planning his next 'googly' on the housemates.

His bratty, rabble rouser ways isn't lost on the hosts -- Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan -- who have constantly appealed to him to play it fair and ethical. Only he's far from intimidated and often threatens to quit the show over the slightest criticism.

So who exactly is this Mr Hostile? rediff.com investigates.

Born Akashdeep Saigal, a resident of Mumbai, changed his name to Sky Walkr (that's right) in the lure of better career prospects, following a suggestion from a numerologist.

Although he's become a household name ever since his Bigg Boss stint, Sky's been around for more than a decade now.

His career in show business kick started after his participation in the Gladrags Manhunt Contest, 1997 leading to modeling assignments and commercials like Bombay Dyeing etc.

Next, he featured as one of the dhoti-clad shirtless hunks in pop star Shweta Shetty's music video of Deewane deewane.

Movies were the next step when he bagged a role in Raj Kaushal's directorial debut, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (PMKK) in 1999.

PMKK, best remembered for Vishal-Shekhar's catchy score, served as a launching pad for fellow model Dino Morea and Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia's daughter Rinkie. The film tanked without trace and nobody sat up to take notice of Sky's skills as a hamming comic, Rony.

His next Bollywood offering, Supari (2003) about four friends embroiled in the world of betting, co-starring Uday Chopra, Purab Kohli and Rahul Dev, also fared poorly at the box office.

Sky finally hit bulls' eye in 2009 with Tamil hit, Ayan, wherein he played superstar Surya's arch nemesis, Kamalesh.

Ayan turned out to be a roaring critical and commercial success and Sky's singular experience down south.

Things looked up on the small screen with a leading role in Ekta Kapoor's serial, Kuchh Is Tarah but it was his popular turn as Ansh Gujral/Virani, the long-haired antagonist of long-running soap, Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that brought him back in favour.

Even though he also played Eklaya, the good-hearted son of Ansh, Sky's on screen malice overshadowed his newfound positivity.

His vile ways on the idiot box cemented his image of a bad boy in the industry, which gained further mileage with his outburst and vile behavior in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao and Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout.

Here are a few samples of Sky-styled antics:

Sky, who previously dated choreographer turned director, Farah Khan for two years, got rather aggressive and openly accused her along with co-judges Shilpa Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali of showing bias and playing favourites after he was eliminated from the dance-based reality contest.

His unfriendly, callous personality was at work yet again during Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, a desi version of British show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!, wherein a bunch of participants struggle to survive in a jungle camp without any facilities.
From poking fun at singer Anaida's Hindi-speaking skills to getting in furious fights with Mona Vasu to flirting wildly with sex symbol Negar Khan, Sky's rowdy side was in full view.

Reportedly, he gave a lot of grief to the crew of Shah Rukh Khan-hosted Zor Ka Jhatka by refusing to show up on the sets even after recovering from a minor rib injury.

Therefore, no matter how hard Pooja Bedi tries to convince us about how amazing a person Sky is, the Bigg Boss 5 resident appears to be in no mood to relent.
