The housemates in Bigg Boss 5 had a pleasant surprise when their loved ones visited them in the house. We bring you a lowdown on what happened during the brief family reunion, and also introduce you to the family members.

Shiraz Bhattacharya, Shonali Nagrani's boyfriend

Shonali was surprised to see her boyfriend Shiraz Bhattacharya in the house. Shiraz is a music director. He started his career assisting filmmaker Mukul S Anand for three years. He then worked on a movie named Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi as a music director in which Sky debuted. The song Musu Musu was a runaway hit.

Shiraz has directed more than 50 music videos for different artists and directed commercials for popular brands .He plays drums for the band Pentagram and has performed at music festivals. He also freelances as a cinematographer and has shot ads.

Shonali was expecting her parents instead of Shiraz. She thought he would not meet her on national television. After sharing some cozy moments together, Shiraz told Shonali that she was doing great in the show.

Sid met his mother Anuradha Sharma after two years and he couldn't believe his eyes.

It seems Sid's mother has been closely watching Bigg Boss 5 and her son's spats with Sky.

Sky tried to maintain safe distance from her and was just listening to her conversation with others. Sid's mom took a dig at Sky and said, "I think you love to talk a lot, then why are you just listening to me today. It seems you didn't like me coming here."

Her strange behavior towards Sky was very evident.

Sky is very close to his sister Madhu, who is based in Dubai, and often talks about her on the show.

She brought in a lot of positivity in the house. Madhu tried to sort out things between Sid and Sky, something no one in the house has ever attempted.

She also brought gifts for Sky's best friends Sunny Leone and Juhi.

Amar was eager to talk to his son on his birthday; however was unable to do so because Bigg Boss contestants were not allowed to reach out to the outside world.

But Amar's wife Hetal brought with her a box of chocolates and a card for him.

She was busy passing on the Bigg Boss house gossip to Amar rather than talking about their personal life. She is yet to act on her threat of dragging Sky to court over the derogatory remarks he's been making about her husband in the house.

Next to enter the Bigg Boss house was Sachin Shroff, a television actor who has featured in shows like Balika Vadhu, Naam Gum Jayega, Shagun and Vishwas.

Juhi Parmar welcomed him warmly. As Juhi's birthday is on December 14, Sachin brought many gifts for her.

Sachin boosted Juhi's morale by telling her that her fans love her on the show.
