Dulquer found the passion of the Second Show team genuine.

"Most of them are professionals working in some other fields, but they were making a film as they wanted to make their dreams come true. I liked the script and loved the fact that my character in the story was quite unlike me. It was a challenge and I decided to do the movie," he said.

Dulquer says "I don't consider myself to be a born actor and would like the directors to mould me into the shades of the character. I am impressed by the new experiments happening in Malayalam cinema right now and I can relate to such realistic portrayals rather than larger-than-life characters."

He is aware that viewers will expect much from him since he is the son of a legendary actor. "But I have decided to stop thinking about all that while I am facing the camera and to do my job," he says.

Currently, he is shooting for director Anwar Rasheed's Ustad Hotel.
