After the Supreme Court issued a notice while hearing a plea to ban porn sites, directors turned to Twitter to vent out:

Sudhir Mishra: 'Shud porn b banned ? No ,cos banning anything drives it underground n puts it in d hands of criminals. Also if u give people d right to ban porn ,u give them a weapon to ban bold films which deal with sexuality ! When I talk about porn I mean films made with adults.Any one using children shud b dealt with severely n locked for life ! That said I don't watch porn and anyone over 25 stud b viewed sympathetically n needs to get a life!'

Shilpa Shetty, who has been a regular face at the ongoing IPL, will be missing the action in Jaipur, as she will be shooting for her television show.

'En route to the sets of Shriman vs Shrimati now. Unfortunately won't b going to jaipur fr the match today..imp match RR vs MI..too excited,' she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Lara Dutta, who celebrated her 35th birthday yesterday, tweeted her thanks: 'Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the love and all the kind wishes on my birthday! Am overwhelmed and humbled!'

Madhuri Dixit, on the other hand, has a day off. 'Enjoying a day off! Spending quality time with my kids! How is your day going?' she wrote.

Filmmaker R Balki, who shares his birthday with Charlie Chaplin on April 16, received birthday wishes from none other than his daughter Geraldine Chaplin.

Balki's wife Gauri Shinde shared a picture of them together and tweeted: 'Balki & Charlie Chaplin share the same bday & he gets wished by guess who Geraldine Chaplin the daughter of Chaplin!'


She later squeezed herself in the frame, and tweeted the picture. 'I also put myself in the pic on this birthday special with Geraldine Chaplin at the Panama festival:) I like:)'

Arjun Rampal tweeted a picture of himself on the sets of his new film Satyagarh, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor. The film has been directed by Prakash Jha.

Dhanush dubs for Raanjhanaa

Dhanush, who is making his Bollywood debut in Raanjhnaa opposite Sonam Kapoor, recently dubbed for the film in Hindi.

The actor reportedly underwent training for fluency in Hindi language as it was important for the role.
