As tennis player Somdev Devvarman gave a terrific fight to champion Rafael Nadal at the Indian Wells Open, Bollywood cheered for him.

Lara Dutta, who watched the match in California, tweeted with a picture: 'Watching Somdev play his 1st match against Rafa at Indian Wells!! Go Somdev!!!'

Dia Mirza tweeted: 'The best news I've heard in the last week! Somdev to play Nadal! Whoaaaaa! After Roger Federer this is the next Titan he's going to confront.'
