At the beginning of the hit song from Prabhu Dheva-directed film costarring Shahid Kapoor, the voluptuous actress emerges out of water with fiery red lips and red accentuates on her white sari.
Dripping wet with her sari clinging to her body, the actress makes a strong case for essential viewing.

Tamanche pe disco, Bullett Raja
The actress holds court in a red dress and flowing locks on a dance floor in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullett Raja.
The song, also featuring Saif Ali Khan as Sinha's love interest, has the leading man serenading Sinha's Mitali by flaunting his tamancha (gun).

She may not have starred in her constant collaborator Akshay Kumar's Boss but she was still a part of it.
The song Party all night had her grooving to Yo Yo Honey Singh's lyrics in a black sequinned dress and loads of spunk.

Thank god it's Friday, Himmatwala
Lending her item number credentials to Sajid Khan's ill-fated remake of Himmatwala, was Sonakshi extolling the virtues of a Friday evening.
The film may have tanked but the song managed to keep afloat for a while.

Pon pon, Son of Sardar
Doing the sari act yet again, Sonakshi sizzled along side cast members Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, who made a guest appearance.
Gibberish lyrics aside, the song did well since it was released around Diwali.

She also tried her hands at the tomboy avatar.
Sonakshi donned distressed denims and white shirt as she grooved to Go go govinda along side choreographer Prabh Dheva in this film.

Sing Raja, Joker
The film may have sank without a trace but Shirish Kunder's Joker featured a fun song starring lead pair Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi.
Sing Raja was sung by Daler Mehndi and Sonu Kakkar.
