PIX: Bollywood bids farewell to filmmaker OP Dutta

Veteran filmmaker O P Dutta's last rites were performed at Shivaji Park in Dadar, central Mumbai, today, February 10.

The director/writer passed away early this morning after he was admitted to the Kokilaben hospital in Oshiwara, a western Mumbai suburb, following a bout of pnuemonia.

Dutta's filmmaker son J P Dutta greeted well wishers as he arrived for the rituals.

Abhishek Bachchan, who broke the news on Twitter, was one of the visitors.

The actor had worked with the father-son duo in his debut film Refugee, for which O P Dutta had written dialogues and in 2006's Umrao Jaan, which happens to be the late veteran's last film.
