Look out world, here comes Priyanka Chopra!

Priyanka Chopra arrives at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport on Thursday to catch a flight to Johannesburg, where she will be one of the judges for the Miss World beauty pageant, to be held on December 12.

The two-hour event at Gallagher Convention Centre will see the current Miss World, Russia's Ksenia Sukhinova handing over her crown to one of the 112 hopefuls, which include our very own Pooja Chopra, the winner of Femina Miss India World 2009.

Three cheers for Nine!

Lifetime honour awaits Big B in Dubai

Amitabh Bachchan arrives at the opening of the sixth Dubai International Film Festival in Dubai on Wednesday. 

The actor will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award. He will be joined by his son Abhishek. Other Indian celebrities to grace the opening are Ranbir Kapoor, Mammootty, M F Husain, Shimit Amin, Manisha Koirala, Boman Irani, Sameer Dattani, Sonu Sood, Javed Jaffrey and Minissha Lamba.

Among the films to be screened at the festival is Yash Raj Films' Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year. The festival will close on December 16 with a screening of James Cameron's long-awaited 3D sci-fi adventure, Avatar.

The International Indian Film Academy Awards will be held on June 16-19 in Toronto, which will become the first North American city to host a major Bollywood awards show, The Vancouver Sun reports.
