Karan Johar lists his Favourite Films of 2011

With the year coming to an end, Karan Johar announced his favourite movies of 2011 on Twitter.

'Chamak challo is my favourite song of 2011 and ooh la la is a close second!!! Take a bow vishal and shekhar!!!' he tweeted.

He loved Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar and Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture. 'Ranbir and vidya are undoubtedly the performances of the year for rockstar and dirty picture respectively!!!' he continued.

'ZNMD is my favourite film of the year and zoya my favourite director!!!! Stanley ka dabba was a tiny gem of a movie and partho the kid who essayed the title role was just splendid!!!!' he added.

Meanwhile, he congratulated the team of Don 2 on their success. 'With DON 2 all set to cross the 100 crore mark...one can safely say its been a box office boom time year!!!! See you all at the movies!!! Its been a great year for my friends at excel entertainment!!! Way to go @Riteishd and @FarOutAkhtar!!!' he updated.

He praised Shah Rukh Khan for making a tech-savvy film like Ra.One. '@iamsrk pulled all stops with RA ONE and made it the most incredible tech savvy film of indian cinema!!!! He has the POWER!!!! Way to go!!! And with his super sexy DON act...@iamsrk proves that he can be the best lover and the meanest man on celluloid with equal panache!!!' he wrote.

On the third day of her vacation, Madhuri Dixit went scuba diving. 'A little piece of paradise... your own little island. Day 3 involved some scuba diving and snorkeling,' she tweeted.

Shah Rukh Khan was up late watching the cricket match before he left for Dubai to holiday with his family. 'Match so amazingly poised...allowing myself the luxury of watching it instead of sleeping...holiday starts day after so can sleep later,' he tweeted.

Arjun Rampal too left for Dubai. 'On route to Dubai...holiday time...happy holidays to all,' he updated.

Celina Jaitly, who is due in April, is feeling blessed. 'Ths year passed by so quickly ...had no idea 2011 wld bring me my hubby n the twins & new beginnings at work 2 ,feel lk 2011's favorite gal,' she wrote.

Dia Mirza is officially on vacation now. 'Leaving for my vacation tonight :) may the new year give birth to new beginnings...may it give us all clarity, conviction, enthusiasm. Love,' she wrote.

Aashish Chowdhry tweeted: 'Didn't even realise how time flew by this year.. N now when I'm totally set to take off to Goa tomorrow, "today's" just not passin by!!'

Why Dilip Kumar is surprised

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who joined Twitter on his 89th birthday on December 11, has more than 67,000 followers within a span of two weeks.

Surprised by the number, he couldn't believe that people still love him. 'Reading your messages and replies- better than Joggers walk. 63000 followers so quickly. So much love for an old man?' he tweeted.

Later, he added: 'Watched one song of Mughal e Azam on this screen in between two rounds of Joggers Park. Now third round.'
