Stars condemn attacks on Prashant Bhushan

Bollywood stars condemned the attacks on Supreme Court lawyer and activist Prashant Bhushan, who was attacked in his chambers yesterday.

Gul Panag tweeted: 'Interesting 2 see frm footage of the Bhushan attack-that the cameraman filming his interview continued 2 film him as the attacked happened'

Mahesh Bhatt was outraged to hear the news. 'Just heard about Prashant Bhushan being assaulted by some goons in his chamber. I am outraged. These are sad times,' he wrote.

Rahul Bose said everyone is entitled to an opinion. 'totally condemn attack on prashant bhushan. i disagree w/prashant e.g. on #teamanna, but everyone is entitled to an opinion within the law,' he wrote.

Ranvir Shorey tweeted: 'Incidentally, the attack on Prashant Bhushan in SC speaks volumes on the state of security in the nation.'

Every actor has a Blackberry that allows them to stay connected with the world. As its services went down, they could neither send messages or tweet. 

Ameesha Patel was happy to have the services. 'Goodmorning tweeple. Finalli bb working. Can't believe how long they took to repair. Its insane. Have a good day tweethearts,' she updated.

Akshay Kumar feels being a slave to technology isn't good. 'So I believe its a good morning for most of you with your Blackberry services restored. Super, now you can read my tweets again on the go ;) just kidding! Though on a serious note, one should not let a phone take over their lives, personal is always better than virtual. Technology is good but becoming its slave not so good, think about it and have a super day :)' he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan couldn't control his frustration.  'Such a dependence on technology our lives today .. no BBM and it seems like a major portion of your life has shut down ..!! BLACKBERRY ...!!! In theatres this weekend

Kalki Koechlin tweeted about her film, My Friend Pinto, releasing today. 'One more day for my friend pinto to meet everyone at the theatres and I'm looking forward to the smiles on your faces:)'

Co-star Divya Dutta plays a drunken character in the film. 'My friend pinto releases tmrw! Gud luck keh do! Look frward to u all seeing my drunken avtaar! Talli !super fuun shtng fr tis one!' she wrote.

Another film that releases tomorrow is Ayesha Takia's Mod. Director Nagesh Kukunoor tweeted: 'Once again a big thanks to my great crew for their work on Mod and for all the loyal audiences over the years. Now we wait for Oct 14th.'

Ayesha too tweeted 'Watch Mod tomorrow..I hope u all show mod as much lov as ul have shown all my other films'

Other films that release tomorrow are Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge and Aazaan and Jo Dooba So Paar Its Love in Bihar.

Ra.One to premiere worldwide

Ra.One is going to have a worldwide premiere. The film will be premiere in Dubai on October 24, London on October 25 and Toronto on October 26. 

Shah Rukh Khan, who will be attending all the premieres, is looking forward to catching up with friends. @TERRYBAMBI greetings my main man...hope to see u at the premier in london...miss ur fumbles and tumbles,' he tweeted to a friend. 

Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal's look in the film be released soon. 'Saw an image of myself in a paper claiming its my look, its my look in the game not the real deal. Images of real Ra 1 out in 2 days,' he updated.

How these actresses stay fit

Nargis Fakri is relying on yoga to stay fit. 'Yoga early this morning was fantastic! Thank u Vandana. U made my day a happier one! Now just enjoying the peace!' she tweeted.

Sonakshi Sinha has made a new record at her gym. 'New record at my gym. 100 skips in 28 seconds. Trainers in shock, me in pain,' she tweeted.

Preity Zinta too had grueling session at the gym. 'Back from a grueling session at the gym ! Yasmin is definitely a slave driver.. Grrrr ! Trying 2 beat the jet lag ! Trainer se bachaao pls!' she wrote.
