Apoorva Lakhia recreates Zanjeer magic

Director Apoorva Lakhia has finally acquired rights for Manna Dey's popular qawwali Yaari Hai Imaan Mera for his remake of the 1973's super-hit film Zanjeer from HMV (now known as Saregama).
The song is going to be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
Lakhia, who is currently shooting for the song, updated: 'Big day on #Zanjeer set, RC, PC, SD and ShriHari, 100 dancers, 200 extras, Ganesh masterji, superb song by Meet Brothers yet again. Phew.'
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of her with co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ram Charan Teja, and director Apoorva Lakhia from the sets and tweeted: 'Cast n crew.., #zanjeer @duttsanjay @Apoorvalakhia Ram Charan'
She shared another picture and added: 'Over the moon on #zanjeer set... Song shoot.. Yaari!!!'

Confirming the reports, she tweeted: 'Honored to be producing a film on the legendary Bhupen Hazarika & his extraordinary love story with Kalpana Lajmi. Who will play him? Tough!'
Directed by Kalpana Lajmi, the film will explore Hazarika's stormy life, his passion for music and his 40-year-old relationship with Lajmi.
