Alia Bhatt will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's next film.

Confirming the news, Karan Johar tweeted: 'AYAN MUKERJI's next for Dharma productions is slated to begin mid next year and release December 23rd, 2016. RANBIR KAPOOR and ALIA BHATT.'

After Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, this will be Ranbir and Ayan's third film together.

Neil Nitin Mukesh got nostalgic as he turned to Twitter to remember his grandfather and singer Mukesh on his 91st birth anniversary.

'Never met him in my life. My Grandmother told me so much about him and bridged the gap. So proud to be born his Grandson so proud to be a MUKESH,' the 32-year-old actor tweeted.

'As a son it is was his duty that his father be remembered, hence my fathers name NITIN MUKESH. As my fathers son, it is my duty that my father and his father are always remembered hence My name. NEIL NITIN MUKESH. #Happybirthdaymukesh' he added.

Lata Mangeshkar also paid tribute to Mukesh: 'Namaskar. Aaj Mukesh Bhaiyya ka janam diwas hai.hum sab unko hamesha yaad karte hai. Unka ek geet aap sab ke liye.'

In a career span of almost 26 years, Mukesh sang several superhit songs like Awaara Hoon, Sabkuch Seekha Humne, Kisi Ki Muskuraahaton Pe, Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein, among others.

The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is busy with the post-production of his next film Happy New Year, recently took his son AbRam out for a drive.

'Went for a drive with my just about yr old AbRam & he totalled the music system, to the tune of Wrecking Ball! & parents r wary of teenagers,' the 48-year-old Bollywood star tweeted.

'It’s been a good day. Ended like the laughter of my children. Light hearted…loud & without a care in the world. Untouched by even me…,' he added.

The shooting for Guneet Monga’s next production Zubaan is over.

Actress Sarah-Jane Dias tweeted: 'And that's a wrap!!! @ZubaanTheFilm Thank you @MozezSingh for making this the funnest, smoothest shoot ever!'

Directed by Mozez Singh, the film will also star Prabhu Dheva, Remo D'Souza and popular dancing duo Les Twins in a special song.
