Aishwarya Rai Bachchan received rave reviews for her first appearance at the ongoing 64th Cannes Film Festival. And just when people thought it couldn't be topped by anything, Mrs Bachchan turned around and outdid herself with this look!

Ash arrived at the premiere of Australian film Sleeping Beauty and looked breathtaking in her Armani Prive gown in blue and white.

The actress wore a two-tone asymmetrical dress with sharp edges and an eye-catching bracelet to go with it.

She completed the look with her favourite smokey eyes and a tight, upsewpt bun.

Some of the critics have even named Ash as the best dressed celeb at the film festival so far. Too bad this is her last appearance at Cannes this year as the actress is headed home.

She kept it minimal with a clutch and a bold bracelet.

The white and navy blue gown may be a little too edgy for Ash's taste, considering that she's mostly stuck to chic elegance before, but she rocks the look.

One of the most talked about thing on Aishwarya, besides the glorious dress, was her bold bracelet that was her main accessory.

Also, the hair looks a little unflattering from this angle. A soft low bun could've worked better, perhaps.

And finally, Ash looks like a dreamy mermaid in the statuesque pose that she strikes.

She's well qualified to give lessons in red carpet conduct, we reckon.

Ash plays with the eye colour block trend this summer with dashes of blue and yellow on her eyes.
