Changing Faces: When Bollywood gals became moms

It's the age of Bollywood mommies! Right from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who's hung up her working boots for a while to care for her bundle of joy, to Shilpa Shetty, who's waiting for a visit from the stork in summer.

Caught in the transitional process of motherhood, these celebrity mommies go from svelte to plump and back with admirable ease but it does make for endearing sights when they turn up at dos, proudly cradling their baby bumps as opposed to their former svelte avatars.

Here's looking at Bollywood belles and their transformation as they take on motherhood and maternity clothes.

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa has been known for her super-slim body but the expectant mother (she's due to give birth to her first child in May) is still at ease in front of the camera in her pregnant phase. She was recently spotted (top, right) at an IPL event where she unveiled her team's (Rajasthan Royals) jersey.

Last year, she turned up for IIFA awards looking ultra-glam in a body-hugging number.
