Review: Thor is surprising as a film
The film's strengths are the cleverly constructed conversations and the focus on Thor's relationships Review: Vaanam is engaging
Vaanam with an ensemble cast, is a reasonably good story, with just a few minor lapses. Review: Yogi sparkles in Dhool
The film comes with a perfect concoction of comedy, action and drama. Review: Source Code is an amusing mind bender
The film chooses to go for an audience-stimulating climax. Review: Limitless doesn't explore its potential
Limitless is a usual fare until it reaches the twist-in-the-end finale. Review: I AM is a relevant film
The stories are open to speculation, like incomplete bits of poetry. Review: Chalo Dilli is an arduous journey
The film has its heart in the right place. Everything else isn't.

Review: Dum Maaro Dum is more bust than drug
Dum Maaro Dum is a very watchable film Zokkomon : Another dud for Darsheel
A lackluster script and an overdose of clichéd situations turn this film into one more 'preachy affair' Dum Maaro Dum: Dum Maaro, dummy!
Dum Maaro Dum is interesting but could have been much better.

Review: Scream 4 offers nothing new
The movie has its highpoints but it stretches its movie-within-movie mask a bit too much. Review: Teen Thay Bhai is a waste of top actors
Loud and inert at the same time, the film should be shunned simply because of how cruelly it treats three actors we should treasure. Review: Unknown but easily understood
The film is a somewhat less satisfactory movie than its spiritual predecessor Taken.

China Town has no substance
The plot takes a backseat as soon as the stars make entry.

Review: Memories in March is mediocre
The film deals with human loss and is a way ahead for those bearing the tragedy. Review: Not a FALTU idea after all
Remo D'souza's level-headed direction keeps the film uplifted. Review: Game is a dim effort at storytelling
The movie is an old-fashioned murder mystery at heart.

Review: Sucker Punch, Delivered
Sucker Punch does not lack for either spectacle or showmanship, it possesses that all-too-rare commodity in a big budget action spectacular these days -- a story.

Hereafter makes the supernatural sound 'cool'
Without getting pedagogical or making it sound like a spiritual discourse on life after death, Hereafter uses its plot to go beyond what is expected.

Review: Maintain your distance from Yeh Faasley
It does not have the thrills that constitute in a thriller film. Review: The King's Speech leaves you speechless
The King's Speech reaffirms what most filmmakers take for granted, that a film should stay rooted in its culture and that its characters. Review: Black Swan is a must watch film
Watch Black Swan for its technical brilliance, for the manner in which the director has managed to parallel the happenings in the ballet being performed with the changes in the main character's life, and for the way it has been shot and art directed.

Review: Don't miss True Grit
While revenge and God's grace on the right-doers are the dominant themes of True Grit, one could say the film is equally about special relationships that you forge along the way. Review: Tanu Weds Manu is charming
Tanu Weds Manu engages best if you can read in between the lines and draw your own sub-text. Review: The Fighter is a winner
Great performaces from the remarkable cast will get you hooked to this one.

Review: Rabbit Hole belongs to Nicole Kidman
Here's why the actress was nominated for this year's Oscar in the Best Actress category. I Am Number Four: Answer to Potter, Twilight?
Here's a contender designed to fill the void left by the boy wizard and those chaste vampires. Kaccha Limboo: Slow... but not steady enough
Kaccha Limboo is an original film with a just-about-fine first half and disappointingly weak, no-focus second. 7 Khoon Maaf review: Strikingly boring but cute
Vishal Bhardwaj gives us a film so linear, so simplistic in narrative, that it never quite manages to arouse interest.

Patiala House: Bend it like Akshay!
Watch it for Akshay's measured and matured performance and the soul stirring music. No Strings Attached: Not fun to watch
The trailer was mildly amusing. The film not so much. Review: Angel is best avoided
Ganesh Acharya's Angel is one more love story which will fade into oblivion. Review: The Mechanic is enjoyable
If you are looking for a fun time at the movies this weekend, The Mechanic has the means to satisfy.

Alpha and Omega review: Too much of wolf
Alpha and Omega offers nothing to the precocious intelligence. Hum Dono review: Absolute must-watch
Don't miss this emotionally fascinating drama that stubbornly refuses to have anything to do with filmmaking conventions. Review: Sanctum is no Avatar
There are only fleeting moments of visual brilliance which you can count on your fingers. Review: Avoid United Six
A lame story, poor acting and shoddy direction plagues this chick flick. Utt Pataang review: Not quirky enough
Utt Pataang is interesting provided you enjoy comic capers with a hint of romance. Yeh Saali Zindagi review: A twisted entertainer
On the surface, Yeh Saali Zindagi is a black comedy in a bawdy skin. And even as purely that, it's wonderfully unrestrained and entertaining with its mouthful of zingers.

Review: Skip Burlesque, go for Bollywood instead
The Christina Aguilera film just does not make the cut. Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji: Wannabe sex comedy
The film is nothing but a silly jumble of misspent potential and hollow creativity.

Raja Sen reviews Danny Boyle's 127 Hours
It is a film that bares its bloody teeth and grins at the end; it's even sneaked a bite out of the viewer.

Raja Sen reviews Dhobi Ghat
Dhobi Ghat is a middling debut by Kiran Rao, watchable due to its nuances but simply not interesting enough to recommend. Review: Tangled is damn cute!
Stunning computer graphics and feel-good elements make this a must-watch movie. Review: Somewhere goes nowhere
This movie is strictly for Sofia Coppola filmography completists.

Review: Prateik wows in Dhobi Ghat
Dhobi Ghat is an unsual film but it lacks punch.

Review: Bobby lets Yamla Pagla Deewana down
The new Deol film is certainly no Apne. Review: This Hornet stinks
An unlikeable leading man, his talkative sidekick and a tanned Cameron Diaz makes The Green Hornet a damb squib. Review: Turning 30 is embarrassing
Turning 30!!! is a collection of cliches running through a harebrained script.

Review: Patiala House music is quite good
You won't feel cheated for having brought an original copy of this CD.

Yuvan's Musical is worth a listen
Pathinaru might have plenty of Yuvan's signature tunes, but there are moments of appeal that give some depth to the album, and veer away from his template. Review: No One Killed Jessica could've been better
No One Killed Jessica is brilliant but still lacks the punch.
