Review: Hideous + Painful = Housefull
The director of Heyy Babyy is an offensive humourist, and while there might not be anything wrong with that approach per se, he tries far too hard to forcibly inject consistently lame humour from every pore of his film. Review: Hideous + Painful = Housefull
The director of Heyy Babyy is an offensive humourist, and while there might not be anything wrong with that approach per se, he tries far too hard to forcibly inject consistently lame humour from every pore of his film. Flashback foolishness with Hot Tub Time Machine
This is a paean to cinema of the 80s, a buddy movie, and a time travel comedy, all rolled into one mad package. It doesn't succeed in either genre, and overstays its welcome thanks to its pottymouth, but it does have its moments.

Raavan: Rahman-Ratnam combo never fails!
Rahman stays true to the element of Ratnam's vision as there's never any attempt to show off or introduce unnecessary elements.

Review: City of Gold is not for everyone
Do watch this film if you enjoy slice-of-life films. But if candy floss cinema is your cup of tea, then it's best you keep away. Butler, Aniston fall flat in The Bounty Hunter
There is zero chemistry between the two leads and nothing about the plot even suggests that much thought went into it.

Review: Paathshaala...a school full of stereotypes
The movie has its heart in the right place. Unfortunately everything else is not. Phoonk 2 review: Too much noise
The happenings in this movie are not as scary as the notion that producers are repeatedly funding movies like this.

Review: Jaane Kahan ... could have been a gag fest
Jacqueline's Tara could be a keeper if only the movie wasn't so intent on turning her into a love-struck Barbie. Ditto for the movie. Review: Prince, the last word in absurdity
This action movie is nothing but old wine in a new bottle. Review: The Japanese Wife is beautiful but bland
The film seems too brief and simplistic for a full-length feature, and most of this film passes by with such unhurried lack of necessity that it really doesn't matter if you're looking at the screen or not. It's very pretty, but most of it is unfortunately very pretty wallpaper. Review: Don't miss The Hurt Locker
Check this movie out on a cinema screen near you because if you don't, you won't have anyone else to blame when the quality films fail to grace our movie screens in the future. Green Zone review: Chaotic and unsatisfactory
There isn't much about Green Zone that classifies it as a must-have cinematic experience. Review: Date Night will leave you with a smile
A simple case of mistaken identity quickly turns into a whirlwind of misadventure that involves car chases, breaking-and-entering, interactions with a hunky ex-client who happens to have access to some cool gadgets, a hot woman, some fast cars and much much more.

Review: April Fool is a blatant copy of Bheja Fry
Don't miss this review. Review: Nothing vintage about Sadiyaan
Sadiyaan actually feels as long as its title for Kanwar not only rakes an old-fashioned subject, his treatment is outmoded too. Nothing entertaining about this Paiyya
Karthi's Paiyya has a peppy beginning, but fails to deliver. Tum Milo... is an interesting idea, nothing more
Watch the film is you are a Nana Patekar or Dimple Kapadia fan. Review: Pankh is a courageous film
Pankh is not for the feeble. The director sets out to shock, scandalise, repulse and disgust you. If you are prepared for this then take a chance. Don't say we didn't warn you. The Great Indian Butterfly is an honest attempt
A must for Sandhya Mridul fans or those who thrive on tales of marital strife. For the rest there's always IPL. Review: Flash Of The Titans
Watch Clash of the Titans if you're in the mood for mindless fun are not bothered by patchy special effects. Review: Boundless Ocean
Leaving Home - The Life and Music of Indian Ocean will rejuvenate you.

Review: Sura's music is for Vijay fans
Sura, like every other Vijay album has all the ingredients that will make his fans insanely happy -- and a couple of numbers that have a broader appeal, despite the remix value.

Review: Varudu is worth a watch
The Telugu movie by Gunasekhar dwells on arranged marriage and tradition.

Kites music: Smooth like a bird's flight
Rajesh Roshan's score stays true to his tangent, traditionalist style while embracing modern sounds that impart the movie its smooth flight and soaring touch.

Review: Pramaani fails
The Malayalam movie is very similar to Madampi but does not have its emotional punch. Go watch Just Pass!
This college flick needs to be commended for its narrative technique and soothing music.

There's nothing new about In Ghost House Inn
Director Lal's much awaited Malayalam film has nothing new to say. Review: Angadi Theru is a must-watch!
Credit goes to Vasantha Balan for coming up with this realistic Tamil movie without getting caught in cliched situations; for sticking a camera into reality and capturing a slice of life. Maro Charitra lacks soul
This Telugu remake is no patch on the Tamil original that starred Kamal Haasan. Review: Hum Tum Aur Confusion
The premise of Hum Tum Aur Ghost has its heart in the right place. But the script doesn't evolve from one scene to the other. It resembles a car that lurches forward again and again moving a few feet ahead before it comes to a slow and agonizing halt. Review: Mittal Vs Mittal is best avoided
There have been many films made on rape and sexual violence. Most of them hope that depiction of violence will help to titillate the audience. Mittal Vs Mittal also sets out with this objective but the audience is more likely to get repulsed than titillated. Review: Well Done Abba is engaging
This is a film for hardcore Boman Irani and Shyam Benegal fans.

Review: Thanthonni is a disappointment
The story line of this Malayalam film is too jaded to merit a dekho. Stay away from Yaagam
This Telugu film is rather unexciting. Review: Nayakan is interesting
This Malayalam film not only grabs your attention by its originality of premise or treatment but by its sincerity as well. Mundhinam Parthene is worth watching
The Tamil movie is a mild, romantic love story that's a near-perfect portrayal of life in Chennai's IT sector.

Review: Swayamvara is time pass
The Kannada movie is okay for a one time watch. Kacheri Arambam is a silly entertainer
Super Good Movies' Tamil movie is a no-holds barred masala potpourri. Give your brains a rest and enjoy the silliness. Shaapit review: Go, get scared!
Those looking for chills won't be disappointed. Review: Lahore is mostly watchable
The movie redeems itself somewhat by intently playing on the paradox of pacifist intentions realised in the face of a seriously hostile sport. Raja Sen: LSD, a damned masterpiece
Dibakar Banerjee's movie is bleak, bittersweet, funny and markedly unglamorous, and yet you come out humming the theme tune, your head blown clear off your shoulders. Housefull music review: A mixed bag
A mixed bag of zippy and wishy-washy, there's nothing full-filling about this House. Review: The Bedtime Story of Eli
If you are a die-hard Denzel Washington fan who must watch everything the man has been in, wait for this movie on DVD.

Review: Aakasa Ramanna falters in execution
Apart from the Telugu film's new narrative style, there's nothing much going for it. Review: Alice doesn't live here anymore
The new Alice In Wonderland -- not a patch on Disney's 1951 animated classic of the same name. Right Yaa Wrong review: Mostly right!
Although the movie preaches a little bit it does keep you entertained and engrossed.

Thambikku Indha Ooru is ridiculous
This particular wannabe star puts on a no-show.

Ponyo, delighting adults and kids
Ponyo reconfirms Miayazaki's genius as a writer and director. Road, Movie is a fun drive that goes nowhere
This is a casual drive, short enough to not mind, long enough to leave you slightly tired. Review: Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is a fun watch
Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is a lighthearted entertainer that tickles your funny bone.

Review: Teen Patti is just one big bluff
Teen Patti is worth a watch just for Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. Review: The Princess and the Frog is delightful
You don't have to be an amphibian or royalty to enjoy the enchantment of fairy tales or the power of a well-meaning kiss.

Karthik Calling Karthik review: Lots of static!
Films like Karthik Calling Karthik are all about winding up right. This one fails to make a connect.

Sufi Paranja Katha is subtle and brilliant
The latest Malayalam venture by National Award winning director Priyanandanan is about life, which goes beyond any religious dogma or faith.

Review: Smile, click, get scared
When it comes to horror, Ram Gopal Varma and Vikram Bhatt have nothing on Sangeeth Sivan. Vishnuvardhan scores with Aptharakshaka
Late Vishnuvardhan's 200th Kannada film is thrilling and entertaining. Percy Jackson... will surely steal your heart
It's no Harry Potter but still worth a watch. Review: Tabu cannot save Toh Baat Pakki
Tabu herself can't help being a good actress. But she clearly doesn't have the wherewithal to rescue a script this weak.

Take your family for Crazy Kutumba
This Kannada road movie has its moments. Review: Aagathan is mediocre
The much talked about reunion of director Kamal and his protege Dileep is mediocre.

Raja Sen reviews My Name is Khan
My Name Is Khan is a film that will have the galleries cheering and making sure there aren't many dry eyes in the house. My Name is Khan. And I could have been better
The movie does not live up to its entire potential.

Review: Striker is Siddharth's game
An interesting film with a lot on its mind, the movie isn't comfort cinema, but watch it anyway.

Review: Avoid Senior Mandrake
Malayalam film Senior Mandrake is very tacky.
