Brad Pitt almost attacked at Maleficent premiere

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt descended on the red carpet for the world premiere of Jolie's new film Maleficent at the El Capitan thetare in Hollywood on May 28.

Dressed in colour coordinated outfits, the A-listers looked their glamorous best.

The makers cast Brangelina's daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as the young princess Aurora since she wouldn't be scared of her own mother during principal photography.

Brad Pitt, seen here signing autographs for fans, was almost attacked by a 25-year-old Ukrainian prankster at the premiere, who leapt over the security barricade to reach to the star.

Fortunately, the security persons sprung into action in no time and restrained the youngster.

The prankster Vitalii Sediuk is seen here in custody as he is escorted out of the venue.

He was detained by the Los Angeles police and faced a misdemeanor battery charge.

He is being held on $20,000 bail.

After a brief anxious moment, the star couple quickly proceeded to meeting fans.

Pitt is said to have laughed off the incident later on at the do.

This happens to be Sediuk's fourth celebrity prank of the year.

Earlier this month, he tried to crawl under the back of actress America Ferrera's dress at the How to Train a Dragon 2 premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. In January, he had hugged Bradley Cooper's crotch at the Screen Actors Guild awards. He repeated the act the next month, this time with Leonardo DiCaprio, at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
