Next we have this photograph from regular contributor Prasun Sanyal of New Delhi, who explains, "I captured this in a herbal garden not too far from my residence. It was raining all night and in the morning I found this beautiful lotus flower holding drops of rain. It looked stunning and I could not miss the chance to capture nature's beauty."

Dr Sharadh Kumar of Hyderabad sent in this lovely snapshot, stating, "This is Mattupetty Lake, situated 13 kms away from Munnar."

"I took this pic when we went to Jog Falls in Karnataka, when the first rains came," says Suresh K R.

And finally, Kamalakar e-mailed in this one, explaining, "This was taken by my wife Mrs Aruna Kamalakar when we were on vacation in the Andaman and Nicobar islands. It was clicked on our visit to Ross Island -- this little duckling was so cute, trying to do the same things her mother was doing!"
