The fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week saw Sashikant Naidu present his line 'Parvati' -- a range of ethnic designs inspired by goddess of the same name, who represents the woman of the universe.

Keeping in mind that these are summer garments, the designer chose cottons, tussars and muls to create free-flowing, comtemporary designs inspired by nature with an emphasis on khadi, which was entirely hand-painted. Check it out.

First up is this brown, billowing kaftan, with hints of shine and patterning that emerges from a large embroidered disc, which is the focal point of the piece.
