Here's the lowdown on the latest fashion news!

Rihanna dresses up as Playboy bunny in racy new video!

Rihanna has given us a sneak peek of her racy new S&M music video.

The still, coming straight from the set of her video for the upcoming single, shows her dressed up in a Playboy bunny-inspired costume.

The 22-year-old wears huge yellow rabbit ears, a white corset and black high heels in the frame, with newspaper headlines projected onto her, reports the Daily Mail.

She slips into a bright pink PVC dress in another frame, while a third still shows her holding an ice cream cone while wearing a heart-shaped eye patch.

Rather pleased with the results of the video, Rihanna tweeted, "(I) had a fantastic weekend shooting my best/favorite video EVER!"

The song was released on January 25.

The Indian Express has reported that avante garde Indian style guru Manish Arora is all set to take over as chief designer of fading French label Paco Rabanne.

Although the news is still to be confirmed, it will hardly come as a surprise to those familiar with Arora's work; in addition to his own label, he has undertaken several collaborations with worldwide giants like Reebok, MAC Makeup and coffeemaker Nespresso. And now he is all set to lend his creativity to one of the biggest fashion houses in the world.

Paco Rabanne has an iconic reputation, but has suffered a setback in recent years. So it comes as no surprise that Rabanne himself, known as the enfant terrible of the French fashion world in the '60s, has vacated the top spot to make way  for younger talent. Will Arora manage to recreate his magic? We'll know soon enough!

Oscar De La Renta less than impressed with Michelle Obama's sense of style

The world may be going gaga over her wardrobe, but here's one fashion guru who's less than impressed with the First Lady of the United States.

Acclaimed designer Oscar De La Renta has chided Michelle Obama for her choice of outfit -- a flaming red Alexander McQueen gown -- during a recent state dinner to honour Chinese president Hu Jintao.

While red is a celebratory colour in Chinese culture, the fact that the creation is by a British label has not gone down well with the American designer of Dominican origin.

Women's Wear Daily quoted him as saying, ""My understanding is that the (Chinese president's) visit was to promote American-Chinese trade -- American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?"

He further added, "I'm not talking about my clothes, my business. I'm old, and I don't need it. But there are a lot of young people, very talented people here who do."

Needless to say, De La Renta has faced a lot of criticism for his comments, but has since defended them, stating, ""It's not (intended) to be negative. Do you think Kate Middleton is going to be married in Marc Jacobs? Or you'd see Carla Bruni dressing in American clothes? This is a big industry in this country. Mrs Obama does look great. She should take that and do something. She could do a great good for our industry. We need to create jobs here, jobs on Seventh Avenue, too."

Kate Moss turns on her raunchy side in new music video

Rihanna is not the only one getting her groove on in a music video this week; supermodel Kate Moss has flashed her bra and pulled up her skirt in one of her raunchiest shoots to date.

The 37-year-old supermodel appears to be playing a hooker in the shoot, turned into a 'pop video', as she hitches up her skirt and pulls up her top to expose her bra in a car's headlights, reports the Daily Mail.

Wearing white pants, a black Dolce & Gabbana top, a black Jean Paul Gaultier-style bra, black and white polka dot Moschino skirt and red and white polka dot platform sandals, she then writhes against a wall.

Photographer Nick Knight shot the video for the December 2010 issue of Italian Vogue with the soundtrack provided by LA-based electro pop artist Evan Voytas's song Tomorrow Night We'll Go Anywhere.

The promo, called 'Editing Kate' and organised by SHOWstudio.com, will now be 'remixed' by various people with this first version edited by Paris-based filmmaker Jamie Harley.

"Few people are as iconic as Kate, and the opportunity to work on footage by Nick Knight made it impossible to resist. I wanted the result to be as obsessional as possible," said Harley.

Moss has previously done her share of bumping and grinding in a promotional video for saucy underwear company Agent Provocateur and pole danced in the promo for The White Stripes hit I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself.

Two thirds of women crave for a perfect pair of denims!

With boot-cut, flared, high-waist, straight-leg, slim-fit, skinny -- all kinds of jeans on the block, it would seem as if there is a pair for every shape and size, but that's not true.

A new survey has suggested that finding a pair of jeans that fits is the Holy Grail, as two thirds of women admitted they have never found the perfect pair of jeans.

In fact, a third dread going shopping for them.

Meanwhile, men seem to be quite comfortable sporting a pair of denims, as just a third said it was difficult to find a good fit and only one in six hate shopping for them.

A fifth of shoppers showed willingness to spend more than 100 pounds (Rs 8,000) on the perfect pair, and once they find them, they are reluctant to let go -- 80 per cent admitted they wear them until they fall apart.

Consumer research analysts Mintel conducted the survey.

"Jeans are a staple item in everyone's wardrobe so it is little wonder we spend so much time finding the perfect pair," the Daily Mail quoted Tamara Sender, clothing analyst at Mintel, as saying.

"But it can be incredibly frustrating and there can be a million different problems with the fit, whether they are too baggy, too high, too short or too tight," she said.

The survey of 1,752 consumers found that women over 55 are likely to compromise style for comfort, while men look for designer labels and a hardwearing fabric.

Former footballer Gary Lineker's wife Danielle, who is a lingerie model, has revealed that despite her husband offering her all the luxuries in the world she would still rather earn her own money.

Danielle, 31, says that even though Gary can provide for all her needs, she wants to be able to buy the things she wants with her own money and not be a kept woman.

"Gary said to me, 'You could have such an easy life. You don't have to put yourself through this'," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

"But I'm a working-class girl, and once it's drummed into you that if you want things, you work for them, it sticks with you."

"I earn my own money. Yes, I live in a lovely house and that's down to Gary, but I'm not a kept woman. I still provide for my daughter. I pay for her schooling myself."

"Gary and I have a joint bank account, but I also have my own account. Maybe I've got a bit of a, not a chip, but a thing about it. If I buy Gary a present, I want it to be from me," she added.

Good news for plus-sized women: You can now have fashionable and sexy innerwear -- courtesy Oprah Winfrey.

According to Women's Wear Daily, the talk show host's public quest for flattering garments has pushed fashions for larger-sized women out from the back of the store and into the mainstream, reports the New York Daily News.

In a 2005 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Winfrey ordered the women of America to get fitted for a bra -- and provided a free fitting for everyone in her studio audience as well.

"I was in a C for years. I thought only strippers were Ds," she had said.

And thanks to the Oprah effect, hot lingerie brands like Spanx, Wacoal, Sassybax have all expanded their shape wear lines to include women who embody the national average: a size 14.
