A royal round-up of the Royal Wedding!

From start to finish, we bring you a picture presentation of the most talked-about nuptials in recent times!

It's a day that will go down in the annals of history and in a round up of several cheerful, royal and awe-inspiring moments, here's a look at -- you guessed it -- the Royal Wedding!

The vibe

The UK's been in a state of excitement for weeks and thousands of well-wishers spent the night out in the street in order to gain a good vantage point from which to watch the proceedings. Here, we see the crowds along the route of the wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Westminster Abbey is not only an imposing monument with a 1,000-year-old history -- it is the site of 15 royal weddings to date.

Ceremonies started earlier in the day, with a marching band keeping the spectators entertained as they took the procession route to the Abbey, ahead of Kate and Wills.

Inside, the choir took their places and readied themselves to lead the hymns.

Looking distinguished and in a good mood in their daywear, the royal couple's 1,900 guests then started to arrive.

Once his guests have been seated, Prince William makes his way into the Abbey, waving to the crowds as he does so. Accompanying him is his brother and best man Prince Harry and both look dapper in military uniforms.

Wills makes his way down the aisle along with Harry and Stephen Lamport, Receiver General of the Abbey.

Once everyone but the bride has made their way to the venue, Queen Elizabeth II's procession headed down the road amidst cheers and roars from the crowd.

Finally, we catch a glimpse of Kate in her wedding gown! She looks radiant as she drives to her wedding alongside father Michael Middleton.

In a car following Kate was her sister and maid of honour Pippa Middleton. She is seen here outside the Abbey with her two sweet charges, bridesmaids Grace Van Cutsem and Eliza Lopes.

Michael Middleton is one proud dad as he escorts his daughter in traditional style down the aisle.

Prince William and Kate gaze into each other's eyes as the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams gets the ceremony underway.

And also the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his bride exit the Abbey.

Waving to the crowds, the royal couple is all smiles as they greet their well-wishers from an open carriage.

We see the procession from afar, headed to Buckingham Palace as the royal family follows the newlyweds in a series of coaches.

A humongous crowd with flags and banners surge along the Mall behind the police towards Buckingham Palace.

Royal fans dressed as brides are seen among the throngs -- yeah, we wish it was us, too!

Their Royal Highnesses Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge emerge along with their family. And we all know what it's time for!
