Internationally acclaimed designer Anupamaa Dayal opened the Talent Box Show on Day One of the Lakme Fashion Week.
Her alluring and enigmatic collection titled Musafir was inspired by the spirit of the Indian woman.

Her eclectic range comprised jackets, blazers, dresses, jumpsuits, tops, shorts, skirts and kurtis -- each piece versatile enough to be worn as separates or sets.

The colour palette was fresh with pop hues such as acid pink, bright purple, mint, indigo, yellow and emerald green.

Balancing the bold shades were earthy tones that blended well on western style silhouettes which gave each of her creations an ethnic chic appeal.

Fine detailing being the highpoint, the collection showcased free flowing designs graced by sequins featuring Indian motifs both in large as well as intricate forms along with exclusive unique block prints.
