Applications invited for 60 Jubilee Scholarships

What

British Council and UK government have announced up to 60 Jubilee Scholarships that are aimed at fresh graduates or young professionals with excellent academic record.

Deserving candidates who would not normally have the opportunity to study overseas are strongly encouraged to apply.

These scholarships will be awarded to Indian graduates taking up places in September/October 2012 for one year taught Masters course in Management, Manufacturing and Science and Technology at a recognised UK institution.

The Jubilee Scholarships will cover tuition fees, living costs through monthly stipend, a return air fare and visa fee.

Additional allowances for field work, travel for conferences, seminars, books, equipment, warm clothing, spouse or child allowance, etc. will not be covered.

Who can apply

The applicants must be:

  • An Indian national with a valid Indian passport
  • A graduate with an excellent academic track record
  • Should have applied for admission to a Masters course (for no more than 12 months duration) at a UK institution.
  • The course of study should be in the subject areas of Management, Manufacturing or Science & Technology
