# Robin Uthappa became the first batsman to post 40 or more in six innings in a row in the IPL.  Matthew Hayden (2009), Virender Sehwag (2012) and Michael Hussey (2013) have achieved the distinction five times each.

# Uthappa became the first KKR batsman to aggregate 400 runs in the IPL 2014 - his aggregate being 422 (ave.38.36) in eleven innings.

# Sunil Narine became the first Kolkata bowler to complete 15 wickets (ave.17.86) in the IPL 2014 in eleven matches.

# Narine's economy rate of 6.09 is the best in the IPL 2014 (minimum 10 wickets).  The said economy rate is his worst in an IPL season.

# Shakib Al Hasan (2/22) has produced his best bowling figures for Kolkata in the IPL 2014.

# Kolkata have won two games and lost one out of three against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL - success per cent 66.66.
