Maruti India is nevertheless going to introduce a revamped version of the existing model in 2012 with many attractive features and a more efficient engine to comply with the BS IV emission norms.

Maruti 800 is available in LPG and petrol variants.

A 796 cc petrol engine has the capacity to produce a peak power of 37.5 PS and a top torque of 6 kgm.

The petrol variant provides a mileage of 19.9 kmpl on highways, while the LPG variant delivers a fuel efficiency of 16.4 kmpl.

The price ranges between Rs 195,028 - Rs 233,784.
