The rhino king
The rhinoceros is a large animal, equal in bulk to three buffaloes. It is more ferocious than an elephant, and more obedient and submissive.
-- Moghul Emperor Babur.
The bull Indian rhino is the most carefree animal. A truly solitary animal, it roams the wilds of Kaziranga in regal splendour.
Cow rhinos are solitary too but they have the responsibility of bearing and bringing up offsprings.
Rhinos follow a definite road or track and releases dung in one place without fail.
Being a prisoner of habit, the rhino grazes in a self-demarcated area and defecates in another, which is away from the feeding area.
Rhinos always approach the dung heap in reverse gear!
