Wanted: For hijacking the Indian Airlines flight on December 24, 1999.

After the five hijackers took control of Indian Airlines flight IC-814, the hijacked plane made stops in India, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, where the body of slain passenger Rupin Katyal and 26 passengers were released.

The Airbus then landed at Kandahar in Afghanistan. The aircraft, crew and passengers were released eight days later after India released three terrorists -- Masood Azhar, Mushtaq Zargar and Sayeed Omar Sheikh.

An associate of Azhar, Athar is a member of Jaish-i-Mohammad, the terrorist group accused for the December 13, 2001 attack on India's Parliament. He is wanted by the CBI for hijacking, kidnapping and murder.

India says he lives in Bahawalpur in Pakistan.
