I led my contingent for the second time, the first time was in 1999. It is a good feeling to lead your regimental centre at the most prestigious parade.
The last time we wore ceremonial dress. This time we wore an improved combat kit, which reflects the modernisation of the Indian Army.
The infantry's improved combat kit has lighter items, waterproof jacket, better cases for holding magazines and other equipment.
I was posted in Kota when I was called for this duty. It is a great honour.
