Kelucharan Mohapatra was a name synonymous with Odissi dance. Name any great exponent of the dance form in the last four decades and you would find that she had spent at least some time learning the art from Guruji.

Yet, the pious Mohapatra remained a humble man. Deeply devoted to Jagannath, Orissa favourite deity, he never failed to remember the Lord before any of his performances.
