How was working with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy like?
I met Shankar Mahadevan at a stage show in Surat. He heard me sing, and asked me to do a show right away. From then onwards, I have been accompanying him for most of his stage shows. Now, I work with all three of them. I have sung many jingles with them, as well as the title track of Johnny Gaddar.
You have become Katrina Kaif's voice now.
I have sung for Katrina in Namastey London, Apne and Welcome. I first sang Aana fannan in Namastey London and Himesh thought that my voice suits her best. I have sung the maximum numbers for her. It feels nice to sing for such a beautiful woman. But I don't want to be typecast.
