A Kannada classic, revamped!

Dwarakish said that his stature as an actor grew after he acted in Sathya Harischandra.

"I still have the 100-day shield of the film (my first). It remains as fresh as ever. I was featured in Sharadhdhadoota Summane, a good song which also became a big hit."

Dwarakish also recalled that he received Rs 400 as remuneration.

Another unforgettable experience, according to Dwarakish, is that during the shooting of the film at Vahini Studios, all the famous stars of South Indian film industry, who later became legends in the film industry would meet up for lunch.

"MGR and Sivaji Ganeshan would join our team of N T Rama Rao and Raj Kumar for lunch. MGR would bring butter milk from his house and distribute it to all of us. I can never forget those days," he added.
