Kuladhalli Keelyaavudho Huchchappa and Mathadhalli Melyaavudho, which was picturised on M P Shankar used to be a regular feature in all the musical programmes.
"All the artists and technicians had benefited from the film. Raj Kumar became a big star and even Narasimha Raju became more popular after this film. His song Yenidhee Grahachaaravo was a big hit and I became a major villain in Kannada films after the film," M P Shankar recalled.
