Sachin directs a Kannada film
In Sachin's forthcoming Kannada film, Ekadhantha, Vishnuvardhan plays a bus conductor. If his last Sirivantha made people cry, Ekadhantha will make them laugh, so feel the film's creators. Of course, Sachin's films usually do keep audiences in splits.
According to director Sachin, Vishnuvardhan's performance is the key. "Dr Vishnuji is an acting icon in Karnataka and has essayed many characters. But the one he is playing in my film is certainly different, and one of its highlights. When I wrote the script twenty years ago, I did not imagine the bus conductor's role would be played by such a great star."
