Rani Mukerji is having a great year.

This year has seen her ruling the box-office with films like Black and Bunty Aur Babli. The actress will now be seen in the refreshingly offbeat Paheli, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Bollywood's reigning queen spoke to Subhash K Jha about her new film, which releases on June 24.

Shah Rukh has been raving about your work in Paheli.

(That's) So sweet of him. He told me I've never looked better in my career. I'm extremely happy with Paheli. It has shaped up beautifully.

The cinematography is outstanding. I believe one particular cinematographer always makes a difference to a heroine's career. Sridevi had W B Rao, Madhuri Dixit had Baba Azmi. For me it's Ravi K Chandran all the way. Look at what he has made me look like in Black and Paheli. My family and I were quite stunned looking at me.

The photography is par excellence. Shah Rukh looks so handsome. People commenting on his new look will fall in love with moustaches!
