Vijay (Bachchan) and Sunil (Kapoor) are conmen, and rivals at that.

But somehow, they always end up at the same place at the same time, and also land up in jail.

Finally both are offered the same assignment -- to kidnap Seth Mathur's (Shreeram Lagoo) school-going son. Dressed as a PT teacher and music teacher respectively, the two try to outdo each other and grab the boy.
