In Paap, there was no real skin show. There was a sequence where Udita is in her swimsuit. That's why I chose a woman like Udita because she gets into her panty and bra. I didn't want a large chested women who would look obscene doing that.

In Jism, the skin show was just an illusion. Bipasha wears a gown when she walks out of sea in a love scene with John. All you see is her navel, not even her cleavage or legs. You see more skin in Dhoom than in Jism! How come no one is calling Dhoom a sex flick? Just because it is a Yash Chopra film?

In fact, there is less skin show in a Pooja Bhatt film compared to music videos and most Hindi films today. But we have the reputation of being the steam merchants because our themes are bold. Take a regressive story and make a woman wear a swimsuit, and nobody will call it a skin show. But take a progressive story and make the woman wear a mini, and they will call it skin show.

Look at David Dhawan's films. It is easy for people to watch a movie with double meanings and laugh at vulgarity, but the minute sexuality is real we get shocked.
