One of the promos of Waqt with Baghban-ish whiffs of the song featuring Amitabh and Hema Malini has Shefali swirling in an extravagant red sari, impeccably made up, gajra in hair, matching steps with Amitabh.
Her saris for the film have been designed by Bollywood's latest design rage Vikram Phadnis. "I have taken great pains for the look. Initially I though Sumitra -- the role I play -- should wear nice cotton saris but Vipul said he wanted her to wear these gorgeous saris, that women would go for the afternoon show just to see the saris."
Left to herself, she is faced with a crisis of sorts when it comes attending a filmi do. "The biggest problem for me is what to wear."

With the ever amazing Smita Patil as her role model, Shefali Shah says she is unsure of where her place in the industry is. For now, she is happy doing her bit, leaving her home for a shoot as and when required and returning home to her kids.
"It's just another job and if I get appreciated for it, it is great."
