Few people get noticed for dressing up a governor, and April Ferry walked away with that distinction when the leather suit she designed draped the beefy shoulders of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnie wore the costume in Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines. The suit went on to take a few hits and that explains why it is bullet-riddled in its final avatar.

Ferry, who was nominated for an Academy Award for 1995’s Maverick, starring Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster, has also designed costumes for Disney’s Flubber (1997) and Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987).
