Dubbed a prankster by Barjatya, Abhishek Bachchan was honoured by the prospect of working with the ace filmmaker.
 

Although the actor is playing a second lead in MPKDH, the outcome of this film at the box office is crucial for him. Since his debut Refugee, none of Bachchan Jr's films have clicked at the BO.

Besides MPKDH, he is also banking on Apoorva Lakhia's Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost co-starring Lara Dutta, Rohan Sippy's Kuch Naa Kaho with Aishwarya Rai and Rohit Shetty's Zameen with Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu.

Interestingly, it was during the shooting for MPKDH in New Zealand that Bachchan flew down to propose to Karisma Kapoor. The engagement was subsequently called off.
