Rani Mukherji says:
I feel that that acting is something you do only if you love it. People say it is difficult because we face situations that are larger than life and you start to hallucinate in order to portray that character.
(On acting)

Qoute
I will do anything for Karan Johar. He is a buddy. He treats me like his little sister and is always there for me. He even suggests the kind of films I should be doing or not doing.
(On working with Karan Johar) .

Anilji (Kapoor) and I have globe-trotted for the song shoots. The South unit would go on in their mother tongue around me -- I hope they weren't speaking ill of me!
(On the Nayak experience)

Qoute
When I did Ghulam (with Aamir Khan) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (with Shah Rukh Khan), I was treated like a child. Both of them were very protective towards me. I will always be thankful to them. They played a very important role in shaping my career.
(On working with the Khan duo)

Industry folk say:
She is very professional, very friendly and easygoing. She leaves all negativity behind when she comes on the sets. And she's a great friend. Rani and I make a very earthy pair. We don't look unbelievably glamorous on screen. We look like a real couple.
(Actor Hrithik Roshan on his Mujhse Dosti Karoge heroine)

Qoute
She is one of my favourite costars. I am not saying it for the heck of it, she really is a very nice person.
(Actor Bobby Deol on his costar of Badal and Bichchoo)

I would even go to the extent of saying that Rani Mukherji is the next Kajol (Govinda on his Hadh Kar Di Aapne and Pyaar Deewana Hota Hai heroine)
Qoute
Rani is an old friend. She fit the role in Saathiya perfectly; it was role she was born to do. She is a complete clown. We had to shoot a scene where she had to be unconscious, but she would burst into a fit of giggles every few minutes. We had to shoot the entire scene over a zillion times.
(Director Shaad Ali on directing Rani in the soon-to-be-released Saathiya)
