Morea, who has been working with CGI for over three decades is bullish on India and expects CGI's services in India to boom in the coming years.
CGI, which began operations in India in 1991, employs 2000 people and is expected to up headcount to 5000 people within the next 2 years. "CGI's India revenues have been growing at 50 per cent annually," says Morea.
CGI recently announced a new credit diagnostic service to help banks and investment houses review their credit portfolios, pinpoint potential risks and devise a plan to minimize any potential losses while positioning for expansion.

Could you tell us more about CGI's India operations?
CGI India has offices in Mumbai and Bangalore. CGI has developed a global supply chain capable of serving clients from multiple geographies, allowing for the best combination of quality, flexibility and cost. Currently, CGI employs 2000 people in India and we are expecting to grow to 5000 people within the next 2 years. CGI's India revenues have been growing at 50 per cent annually. CGI serves over 40 internal and external clients from India. CGI's work in India is focused on high-end software design and development, application maintenance, business process services and infrastructure management.
