In July 2002, Honda's FCX was certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board, making it the first and only fuel-cell car in history to be approved for commercial use.
Fuel cells produce electricity that can be used as a clean alternative
to gasoline.
It zips to 100 miles per hour, and it stops just as well. FCX gets a reported 270 miles on a full tank. There is sufficient room in back for two large adults, and its lines are almost avant-garde.
