Jaipur
The study states that Jaipur households are the 6th most prosperous in India. However, the absolute figures for the city were not available, although they are supposed to be less than Rs 328,000 and more than Rs 298,000 per year.
By 2015, more than half of households in the twenty cities will be middle class, while the high-income segment could more than triple. Meanwhile, the share of low-income households could halve, to 6.9 per cent from 15.7 per cent today.
