Samsung Now Offers Galaxy M56 5G at ₹27,999

Samsung introduced its latest M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M56 5G, in the Indian market. The company emphasised that the device features a sleek 7.2mm profile, making it 30 per cent thinner compared to the model that came before it.

Display

The handset features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ screen offering Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness reaching 1200 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM), and is equipped with Vision Booster for enhanced viewing.

Processor

To deliver strong performance, the Galaxy M56 5G runs on the 4nm Exynos 1480 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and internal storage capacity of up to 256GB. A vapour chamber system is also included to efficiently handle heat dissipation.

Security And Updates

The smartphone ships with Android 15 layered with One UI 7. Samsung promises software support with six major Android version updates and security patches for six years.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy M56 5G is equipped with a three-lens rear system-50MP main sensor, featuring optical image stabilisation, an 8MP wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP lens for close-up macro shots.

Its 5000mAh battery offers long-lasting usage. It supports fast charging at 45W, allowing for quick power-ups and reducing downtime, ensuring you stay connected and productive throughout the day.

Lock Screen Updates 

The new Now Bar delivers real-time information directly on the lock screen, providing updates that matter most. Whether you're on a morning jog, checking your fitness progress or viewing the track playing through your Galaxy Buds, all of this can be done with a simple swipe, without the need to unlock your phone.

Price 

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will be offered in two shades: Light Green and Black. Pricing begins at ₹27,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while the 8GB + 256GB configuration is tagged at ₹30,999. As part of the introductory deal, buyers using an HDFC Bank card can avail an instant discount of ₹3,000. The handset will officially be up for purchase starting April 23.
