Romancing the Nilgiris
Around five km from Coonoor is Lamb's Rock on the way to Dolphin's Nose which is another five km away.
The road to both these extremely popular view points is extremely bad and narrow but the views are amazing.

On one side you see clouds floating in the valley while on the other you see the greenery of the tea gardens.
On a clear day, which is VERY rare due to the mist, you can see as far as Mettupalayam.
