Romancing the Nilgiris

For the entire one hour journey up to Coonoor, I hung precariously near the gate so I could get a good view of the mountains and valleys.

If you have been to an IMAX theater (where the screen takes up almost the entire view in front of your eyes) you would understand how it feels when all you see is lush green forest covered hill slopes, unmarred by any telephone wires!

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

Coonoor is a beautiful town and quite popular with tourists and perhaps has the largest market among its neighbouring towns like Wellington and Aravankadu.
