A ride through the city

Moving towards Palayam, we passed through the State Central Library, established in 1829 and one of the oldest in the country. The building still retains its old architectural charm.

The Palayam area had changed quite a lot with wider roads and new shopping complex. The age-old shops have disappeared.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

The East Fort is where the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located. Quite a few legends are associated with this temple and the Fort. A walk around the fort area is an interesting experience.
